MBTアカデミーは、このフットウェアにまつわるあらゆる研究開発とトレーニング活動の中心となる部門です。臨床医学をはじめ理学療法やスポーツ分野の専門家や研究者が国境を越えて手を取り合い、広く意見を交わしあうことで、MBTが人体にもたらす作用を調査し、実証することができます。MBTの効果を最大限活用するには、科学的な研究が支えとなっているのです。
